Day 1–2: learn the desk
Ignore trading. Click everything: market overview, both heatmaps, calendar, calculator, each market category, order ticket, dashboard. Build the eight-slot combined watchlist from the stocks & forex guide with paper entries only.
Mission checklist
- Place and cancel practice orders in three different markets.
- Run the profit calculator on five hypothetical trades.
- Find swap, margin and processing notes without help.
Day 3–4: one market at a time
Day 3: forex only — heatmap to pair to calendar to ticket, five rehearsals. Day 4: one stock plus one index — screen, compare, time, size. Log every rehearsal in one line: setup, size, outcome, lesson.
What good looks like
- You can go heatmap → chart → calculator → ticket without hunting.
- You know which two markets feel most natural already.
Day 5: macro day
Trade the narrative: read indices, oil, gold and the dollar together using the macro guide's signal table. Practice the cross-market reads — risk-on rotation, inflation scare, USD squeeze — as paper scenarios.
Day 6: crypto and costs
Morning: crypto discovery loop from the crypto guide. Afternoon: the unglamorous part — read the full fees checklist against your rehearsed trades and compute what each habit would really cost.
Day 7: the decision
Score yourself honestly:
- Can I run the full loop without guidance? If no — repeat the trial period mentally, then fund Essential anyway and stay small.
- Which tier fits my funding and habits? See accounts compared.
- Which two markets will I trade first? Write them down — focus beats breadth at the start.
- Is verification complete? Finish it before funding day.
Trial mistakes to avoid
- Random clicking — no routine, no learning.
- Demo-millionaire sizing — rehearse with the sizes you will really use.
- Skipping costs — paper profits without spreads are fiction.
- One-market tunnel — the platform's value is multi-market; rehearse that way.
